Felicia Langer, a Jewish lawyer whose husband survived the Holocaust in a Nazi concentration camp, moved from Poland to Israel to defend Palestinian rights, calling for an end to the occupation and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the West Bank. She received the 1990 Right Livelihood Award for her courage and dedication.
