David Suzuki is a world-renowned Canadian geneticist and environmentalist who has spent more than 30 years advocating for the environment through his many books, and radio and television series, including the syndicated TV series, The Nature of Things, which is seen in 40 countries. He is also the founder of the David Suzuki Foundation, an environmental organizations whose mission is to: "work towards balancing human needs with the Earth's ability to sustain all life. Our goal is to find and communicate practical ways to achieve that balance."
