When
Carol Newell inherited a fortune, she decided she wanted to use that money to
help make the world a better place. She set up the Endswell Foundation to fund
environmental organizations throughout British Columbia. But philanthropy is only
half of the way she is using money to bring about change. With her business partner,
Joel Solomon, she set up a venture capital company, Renewal Partners, to invest
in socially responsible earth-friendly businesses in British Columbia. Now she
is actively seeking out other people with wealth who wish for a better world,
to share her success story and inspire them to put their money to work to create
a more peaceful, just and sustainable world for all.
