Teri
Lynn Hatcher is an Emmy-nominated and Golden Globe Award-winning American actress
-- one the highest paid on television. She gained widespread attention in the
television series, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, as
Lois Lane and even greater fame in the highly successful series, Desperate
Housewives. Teri Hatcher is the National Spokesperson for the Amber Watch
Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing children from abduction
and molestation. Her dedication to protecting children from being victimized stems
from her own experience -- she herself was sexually abused when she was 5. Teri
Hatcher is also a supporter of many other global women's and children's causes
including the Make a Wish Foundation, Save The Children and UNICEF.
