SCHOLARSHIP

This year, The Emily Fund launched the annual Emily Silverstein Scholarship for a Better World - a $1000 scholarship awarded to a graduating senior at Emily's high school, Hightstown High School.

Ian Henderson was selected for the first annual award based on his essay on the theme: "What I have done and intend to do with my life to help create a more peaceful, just and sustainable world."

AWARDS

This year, The Emily Fund also launched the annual Emily Silverstein Awards for a Better World - a $100 bond awarded to a graduating sixth-grader at Emily's elementary, Roosevelt Public School, and a $200 bond awarded to a graduating eighth-grader at Emily's middle school, Melvin H. Kreps Middle School. Eric Diamonte at RPS and Benjamin Benson at Kreps were chosen by their teachers based on their community and civic involvement.
